“I decided to set up my own practice because I wanted to offer great quality dentistry without any compromises. I love my job and my patients, and always strive to give them the best that I can. The team and my patients are like family, and make it a pleasure to come to work. The nicest part of my job is being able to help people (especially nervous ones!), whether it is to relieve pain or rebuild your smile, or rebuild your faith in dentists! In my spare time, when my 3 year old son Rohan isn’t keeping me busy, I love spending time with friends and family, and am a keen runner/gym goer!”
Dr Katie Chapman BDS (hons) Cardiff 2013 MFDS 2016
“Although Eastbourne born and bred, I graduated from Cardiff University with a First Class Honours Degree and have now obtained a Masters degree with distinction in Primary Dental Care. My few years at Lushington Road Dental Surgery have flown by and I have been very lucky to have such a lovely bunch of patients, as well as a newly refurbished top end surgery! In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit at the gym and walking in the lovely Sussex countryside with my gorgeous pug.”
Dr Lindsay Ford BChD Leeds 2007 MJDF 2010
Lindsay has been with us since September 2017 and has been a huge hit with both staff and patients.
“Originally from Newcastle, after qualifying I had a year travelling and working in Queensland, Australia. I have been in Sussex ever since, working in both NHS and Private Dental Practices. Having successfully undertaken postgraduate training to achieve my Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, I have also achieved my Sedation qualification and I am able to restore Implants, as well as offering anti-wrinkle treatments, including Botox® and Dermal fillers. Having my own young family in Eastbourne means I am very family-focussed, and I love treating children, as well as treating the elderly and anxious patients, providing a calm, confident and reassuring approach to dental care.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family and enjoy keeping fit, having recently completed Eastbourne Half Marathon, ‘Tough Mudder’ and the London Triathlon!”
Mr Andy Gibbs CDT 2008
“Andy has been a fantastic asset to the practice, taking on most of our denture cases and also our Implant-denture work, and patient’s love his kind and caring manner.
“I hugely enjoy what I do, and feel privileged to do it. I love talking with and listening to patients as we discuss together how we’re going to go about making their new denture. Away from work I enjoy most sports or though nowadays my participation seems to be more and more from the comfort of a sofa.”
I look forward to welcoming each and every one of you on your next visit to Eastbourne’s premier dentistry. Patient care and relationships are my main priorities and nothing will be too much trouble to make your visits memorable (for the right reasons !)
I love horses, dogs, cats, elephants, turtles – well all animals really ! My car and far away holidays, but not as much as my husband and fabulous children who are my world.
Growing up I was lucky enough to play in England’s under 16 volleyball squad, I know a world class team when I see one, that’s why I chose to work with Anjali here at Lushington Road – so that’s me… but more importantly I want to know about you, so hunt me out when you are next down with us, I’d love to get to know you.
